But it had water. Lots of it. We don't know yet whether it flowed, or bubbled up; whether the rocks that prove its existence were created by it or just influenced. We have no clue yet whether life ever existed there, but NASA is now saying that a favorable habitat for life did exist, for some period of time.

Woot. Nerd heaven.
