Nov. 4th, 2006 08:54 pmJust saw an LJ usericon that made me go "huh".
It was in a post over at the prolife community; that was linked to out of a post on my friendsfriends page.
This particular post was only somewhat snotty and arrogant, compared to so many of its ilk, I'll give it that. But what really made it was the usericon, which had these words: "My movement is nicer than your movement."
Aside from the fact that I disagree on it at face value, it reminds me greatly of an expression of my late mother's referring to people she considered arrogant or stuck-up -- that they thought their shit didn't stink. So much for your "movement", then, dude :-)
