Jan. 5th, 2007 02:40 amThe Jewish Journal has turned up and posted on its website an audio recording of the Rev. Martin Luther King giving a sermon in 1965 at Temple Israel in Hollywood. They're going to play it during services on MLK Day, as well.
Why we're so good at recognizing music. [H]e played another, even shorter snippet: a single chord struck once on piano. Again I could instantly figure out what it was: the first note in Elton John's "Benny and the Jets." Well worth reading.
