M Needs Good Thoughts

Good thoughts for her would be welcome.
Yes, I know Ticketmaster sucks rocks. But still...
I was at the computer at five till nine this morning, intending to buy Springsteen tickets. Got in, selected my price tier and accepted the "best available seats" with a sigh, clicked, waited interminably for the "buy" screen, and, when it came back, saw that my seats were at stage right, just behind the stage.
I did not buy them, because you know, at $75 per ticket, including fees, even in the top tier, I'll be damned if I'm sitting behind the stage anymore.
I bet I could have sold them for six times face value later, though.

Dental Update
Feb. 2nd, 2009 12:45 pmM called a couple of minutes ago. It appears there's a small pocket of infection. Since this tooth has had multiple problems in the past, and the surgery to save it would be tricky, expensive, and by no means guaranteed to fix the problem, the tooth goes.
That means I need to pick her up at the dental surgeon's office around 4 PM. Except that here am I, not yet slept for work tonight, and needing to pick up the children at 2:40. It's nap time for me, and then we'll have an adventure (the office is on Central Park South, so we can find something to do :-) With luck, I can get another couple of hours nap before work when we get home.
Thanks for all the good thoughts; this could have been lots worse.
G'night.
