The Last Nighttime Shuttle Launch
Feb. 8th, 2010 09:39 amSTS-130 (Endeavour) lifted off successfully, and spectactularly (YouTube link; liftoff is at about 3:48; check out the view at around 4:12!), this morning. It was the last scheduled nighttime launch of the Shuttle, ever. Regrets only, NASA, that I couldn't be there on the beach to see it. Fly safe, and make us proud! Five missions and counting...
