My Oscars prediction: now that there are ten nominees rather than five per category, the show will run longer and be less interesting than in years past. That's a shame; it's often been fun to watch. Not this year, though. (Even if I had seen Dances With Smurfs Avatar, I think I'd be leaving it alone.)

My sympathies to those of you with Cablevision who are interested in the show. You don't deserve to be treated like this by either side. New York Knicks fans know just how painful things can get when you depend on the Dolans as owners, but in this case, Disney's also not using any lube.

Quick followup note to that last entry: yes, a bit down. But also listening to a new concert, the last one Marillion played with Brian Jelliman (he was replaced by Mark Kelly) from 1981-11-20, at the Elgiva Hall in Chesham, England. Good quality, but I wish it were lossless (this version is mp3 at 320kbps, which is always decent, but just not the same). Of course, I went LOOKING for Marillion, since I had the song on my mind all night, but it all cycles around and around. (But that's another song :-)
