curmudgeonlet, this time around
Instructions:
Her random letter generator provided me "F". Here they are, in no particular order:
First of May - Jonathan Coulton This was an absolute must for the list. Word are NSFW, but the video (an ASL version) kicks coccyx.
Fat Man In The Bathtub - Little Feat Lowell George's loss was another in the line of rock'n'roll tragic deaths.
Free In The Harbour - Stan Rogers Speaking of tragic losses, this one was heartbreaking.
Fishing - Richard Shindell The man's a genius. One day, this goes into my repertoire.
Fire - Bruce Springsteen One of the most memorable bass riffs of all time, opening one of the best songs from one of America's greatest songwriters, from perhaps his best tour ever (1978, Darkness On the Edge of Town). Caution: audio levels are really high.
