Synergy in the oddest places
Mar. 4th, 2008 12:16 pmSee, the way to increase a laugh tenfold is to set it up properly. And sometimes the universe does that for you, by creating mental links in the strangest ways.
If you've been reading Debbie Ohi's Babylon 5 Virgin blog, you know that she's constantly asking questions by way of thinking-out-loud analysis of the show. And that she keeps telling us (as readers and commenters) not to provide spoilers. Here's a good example.
Jeph Jacques' webcomic Questionable Content has way than its share of funny, and as often as not produces belly laughs in me. It's way high priority on the morning reading list.
I was literally in tears after reading today's QC.
See? Ten times the laughs via synergy :-)
Disclaimer: This is in no way meant to equate, create equivalence, links, or any other relationship between Debbie and any character in QC, nor between Debbie and Jeph, that doesn't already exist (of which I know nothing, see nozzing...). It's all in your mind.
